Yesterdays crime bumps into today's Expediency - US's Armenian Genocide Debate
'Allies at Odds' is how the BBC World News America reported the story of the vote by the American House of Representatives Foreign Relations Committee to designate the mass killings of Armenians in the closing days of the Ottoman Empire as - Genocide. Nicholas Burns of the State Department is rushed into TV News studios to be interviewed by the media with a conciliatory statement at the first opportunity after the vote.
