" Ignite Ice " by Hart For the tears of those who cry Ignite ice and take flight O great and resplendent Angel Beautiful nimble and vigilant Angel Ignite ice from heights on high Noble wise and goodly Angel Soar to heaven's delicate heights Carry the flame of might. Now a multitude of unholy frights Will come to holy earthly sites. Ignite ice and soar oh great Ancient noble angel For this and every night Tame the portending tempest of Unholy earthly sights "اÙØ«Ùج ÙشتعÙ" دÙÙ Ùارت ÙÙد٠Ùع

"Now" by David Hart Let us embark now, you and I, As evening splays out to The blue-blackening sky. Let us ride through Particular smooth stoned Streets, To incoherent cacophonous Retreats, To white table-clothed Restaurants, And mint pillowed four Starred hotels, With cherished friends And talk of noble feats, To dancing streets that Entice our feet. And indeed this is now This gallant moment in Time. Gales of laughter now Somersault through the roof pirouetting in the sky, then careen now down to tickle the tops of our heads. The time is now And always will be. No time for the past. No time for the future. They don't really exist. Now exists. Now will be the moment. Now will always be the moment. Forever, now.

"An Infant Sighs" by David Hart Upright in a crib, legs akimbo, an infant sighs. Windows in the ceiling--a sky light-- a warm radiance of blues, yellows, and scintillating hues of pales corruscating courteously down upon this wide-eyed infant. Upright and attent, legs akimbo, bathing in rapturous caresses of undulating streams of sparkling light, two tiny hands hold firm. Now with toothless miniature mouth, wee gums press upon the pleasure yielding coolness of the smooth plastic crib railing. Anon, incomprehensible voices --muffled and muddled-- ooze through thin walls to the infant's new ears. Contented within incomprehension and delighting in wonderment, an infant sighs.

"Phantasmagoria" by Dave Hart Silently you stare squinting through stained glass panes. Now pulling aside sapphire drapes of flowing somber samite Replete with glowing organdy. Lo, gazing mesmerized, yon quixotic moon-- blithely blowing kisses, wryly winks and coyly smiles. I blush. Yea, a light seesaw of a day And now enter the past pains through a flowing Rorschach panorama of fluid specters-- a pentimento painting of myriad serpentine days metamorphosing into mellifluous mellowing nights. Now mirthful, this moon merrily mills reticent clouds in a star clustered plight. The meeting with Morpheus --wondering of his mood-- cheery and cherry, one hopes. III In the soft security of my pliant bed-- a weary cheek cradled in thoughts of this day's blithely tread-- a voice and vision from the past-- "night night nighty nite sleep tight". A blue sun gyrates in a chrystalline green sky. Flowers made of diamonds float In purple sun light chanting to giddy birds swimming smoothly and certainly in an orange and gold sea. Published by Poetry.com 2006 under the title "The Blue Sun"
