  • Hey everyone, My name is Izabella Wentz, a newly wed for nuptialstv.com here to share my wedding story. I am going to talk about how I was proposed to. Michael and I had been dating long distance for a while and he decided to move from NY to Chicago to live with me. One Sunday, Michael arranged for us to take a catamaran trip to a small island. We sailed in the wind listening to the Eagles, and I just remember thinking that it was the best day of my life. We stopped to go snorkeling on the way. After a few hours we sat down to have a small lunch. Michael started to video taping me, then one of our crew members came up and took the camera. Michael grabbed my hand and took me to the beach, where I noticed that red rose petals were spread out. He turned towards me, got down on one knee, and asked me to be his wife. I said of course! I was on cloud nine, and so elated, that I didn't look at the ring until we walked back to the table to get our stuff! We sailed back and popped open a bottle of Dom ...

Garner a "block booking" rate from a hotel close to your wedding venues. When guests arrive it’s also a nice touch to create a gift bg or basket filled with snacks, and treats. • Welcome brides, grooms, and future wedding guests I'm Harmonie Krieger your host for nuptialstv.com your video guide to planning your wedding and beyond. On this edition of Nuptialstv we will be covering planning your wedding ceremony and more importantly having fun along the way. Congratulations, you’re planning a wedding! Wedding planning revolves around one singular event: the ceremony. There is a great deal of pre-planning and post-planning related to arranging the vendors, the dresses, the tuxes, the site and the reception. Yet all of these components are directly related to the central focus that is the actual ceremony. Weddings are a symphony of organized chaos with the wedding planner in the role of conductor. There is a great deal involved when planning a wedding and the following is just a sample of what you need to account for. Whether you are the bride, mother of the bride, wedding planner or some combination thereof here is a quick checklist of your responsibilities. ...

  • nuptialstv.com Picking the date for your wedding is important, but how do can you avoid competing with other couples for the overbooked weekend dates and the same wedding staff while saving money? Try having your wedding on a Friday or a Sunday. It’s really that simple. Wedding professionals usually have their Saturdays booked, so they give their services away to the highest bidder for Saturday weddings. But their Fridays and Sundays are usually free, or at least less overbooked. The wedding staff you are hiring will be glad for the work and probably give you a better rate, and you won’t have to worry about competing for their time, or even your preferred venue, if you don’t get married on a Saturday. Wedding planning can become competitive and cut throat, so why not make it a little easier on yourself… and save a little money in the process?

  • Grammy winning folk musician Jewel married her longtime boyfriend, rodeo star Ty Murray, earlier this summer in a very, very intimate ceremony on a beach in the Bahamas. It was so intimate, in fact, that there were only two guests who saw the couple get hitched. Jason Freese, Jewel's former keyboard player, married the couple after becoming ordained online, and his wife was the only other witness at their intimate wedding in a cabana at the Atlantis Resort. Jewel looked gorgeous in a strapless wedding gown designed by Monique Lhullier, and Murray projected a casual cool by wearing jeans and cowboy boots. The couple didn't make a big deal of their pre-wedding plans, because they wanted to elope in the tropical and romantic evening ceremony. And if you've ever dreamed of getting hitched in the Bahamas or any other exotic location, maybe following the “Who Will Save Your Soul” singer's lead and eloping is the way to go. You won't have to spend all the money on a big ceremony and reception for a ...

  • nuptialstv.com Sometimes you and a friend might be planning your wedding at the same time and have a similar guest list that might create a bit of a competitive situation... so what do you do you are both giving the same wedding favors? Well, you have a few options. If you really feel like it will be tacky to give the same favors as your friend, then just pick something else. But if the favors you chose for your guests are meaningful to you, you can still try and talk to your friend and see if they will relent on the issue. And if your friend won't give in, just say screw it. Give the same favors as your friend, and be done with it. Your friends really won't care that much if they end up with two silver picture frames from two different weddings... they just want to see that you have a happy day.

  • Hi, I'm Izabella, a newly wed for nuptials tv.com here to share my wedding story. I am going to talk about how I met my future husband. I met my husband, Michael in the last place I ever expected to find love let alone the man I would marry! I met him in Cancun, Mexico. I went was there with a few friends from college during Memorial Day Weekend. I was single, and very happy about it, and meeting guys was the furthest thing from my mind. I remember getting to the hotel where we were staying and seeing a couple getting married and I couldn't' help but think You don't marry someone you met in Cancun!" Well, I guess I jinxed myself, because a few hours later, I met my future husband at that very same hotel. We hit it off and we ended up having a long distance relationship from where he lived in NY and where I lived in Chicago. I'm Izabella Wentz congratulations to the grooms and best wishes to all you future brides.

  • nuptials.com New York Giant's star, and recent Super Bowl Ring winner, Antonio Pierce scored again when he married his beatiful bride, model and TV host Jocelyn Maldonado, in Hawaii. The bride looked gorgeous in a ruffled chiffon gown, carrying a bouquet of peach roses and white orchids, while Pierce looked relaxed yet tasteful in a khaki suit. The wedding was the culmination of a week of festivities meant to celebrate the couple's relationship, which included a giant Luau and and an all white party, all in the beautiful Tropical setting. The usually tough linebacker got in touch with his romantic side at the ceremony, which culminated with the couple kissing with the sun setting behind them. Let this be a lesson to all you future grooms out there. Even giant linebackers can get sappy and romantic, so don't try to fight it.

  • nuptialstv.com 90210 star Tori Spelling wanted a private ceremony when she wed fellow actor Dean McDermott at the Wakaya Club in Fiji, but they wanted to celebrate their vows with their closest friends and family with a much less intimate post wedding party. Celebrity guests wrote well wishes to the newlyweds and pinned them to a wish tree, then dipped Rice Krispy Treats into chocolate while dancing to tunes from the couple's favorite singers, Johnny and June Carter Cash. Their private ceremony from Fiji was shared with the gathered party goers in a forty minute Super 8 film silent film that was projected onto the walls during the reception, allowing guests to feel like they had been part of the intimate ceremony. So even if you do have a small intimate ceremony, film it so all your guests can watch it later. But maybe don't do it as a silent film... and maybe make it last less than 40 minutes.

  • nuptialstv.com When figuring out who to invite to your rehearsal dinner, some couples opt to invite everyone who has come from out of town for the wedding. But this is not strictly necesarry if you are trying to save money for the big day itself. The necessary people at the rehearsal dinner are the couple about to be married, their their immediate family, their officiant and the officiant's spouse, and the members of your wedding party. It's a rehearsal for the wedding, so you can make it a small event if you want... but if you can afford to, invite all your out of town guests and start your wedding celebration a night early. It's up to you... it's your wedding, after all.

  • Hey everyone. I'm Izabella Wentz, a newly wed for nuptialstv.com Here to share my wedding story. Today I am going to be talking about married life! As a newly wed, I am learning a lot about marriage. We are incredibly happy and in love but it is not always roses and romance. Reality sometimes sets in. Michael just finished his MBA in August. He started a really amazing job that he loves but he spends 11-12 hours a day at work. We no longer have the luxury of going out on weeknights because Michael has to wake up before 4am daily to get to work. I usually work evenings, and am NOT a morning person. The great thing is we are no longer poor college students. We are trying to save money for a house, pay off student loans and pay off our wedding. I love being married. Michael is my best friend, and I have never felt as happy as I do now. I love waking up next to him. I can't wait until he comes home from work every day. The weekends are the best. We sleep in a little, make breakfast, and ...

  • Hey everyone. I'm Izabella Wentz, a newly wed for nuptialstv.com Here to share my wedding story. In this segment I am going to tell you about the big day. We had a very big wedding party. I had nine bridesmaids and my husband had 8 groomsmen. Everyone looked beautiful. We had a sunset ceremony overlooking the ocean. A non-denominational minister married us under an all white flower arch. Rose petals covered the walkway, and we had a pianist play "Somewhere over the Rainbow" as the wedding party walked down the aisle. Of course he changed to "Here Comes the Bride", once my dad and I walked down the aisle. Michael and I wrote our own vows and almost started crying while saying them. I was actually memorizing mine earlier that day while I was getting my hair done. Cocktail hour followed the ceremony. We had a steel band play, while waiters passed around hor's d'vours of sweet potato crab cakes, Caribbean shrimps, sesame chicken and jerk tuna kabobs. We had a five-layer cake that I ...

On this edition of Nuptialstv we will be covering Exchanging traditional vows in the Wedding Ceremony. Weddings are about tradition and nothing says tradition more than the exchanging of the rings and wedding vows. Some couples want to write their own wedding vows and others want to find vows that reflect their own personal thoughts. Wedding vows can be long and elaborate or short and sweet. Here are a few sample ceremony wedding vows that may be what you are looking for: * This ring is a token of my love. I marry you with this ring and with all that I am. * I give this ring as my gift to you. Wear it and think of me and know that I love you. * This ring is a token of my love, my fidelity and of the unending circle of our lives for yesterday, today and tomorrow. * I pledge to you all that I am and will ever be. With ...
