Festival favorite Holding Trevor is continually poignant, relentlessly self-deprecating, and just the type of cerebral dark comedy that can speak directly to the twenty-somethings of today while letting other generations in on the joke.

Ever since the premature death of his father, 25-year-old Minneapolis slacker Duncan (Joshua Jackson) is content with shuffling aimlessly through life. Duncan takes a job that allows him to be near his gravely ill grandfather Ronald (Donald Sutherland), who's more than a handful for his grandmother Ruth (Louise Fletcher). That newfound sense of purpose, plus a budding romance with home healthcare provider Kate (Juliette Lewis), gives Duncan the motivation to take charge of his life. However, Kate isn't one to stay in the same place for too long, and Duncan is soon torn between following her to California and a new, more responsible life, and his feelings of familial obligation to an increasingly suicidal Ronald.
This feature documentary focuses on the 10 year campaign to destroy President William Jefferson Clinton and First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton. Based on the best-selling book The Hunting of the President by authors Joe Conason and Gene Lyons, the film reveals how the antagonists sought to drive President Clinton and his administration out of office. Going behind the scenes, filmmakers identify a loose cabal of enemies who were motivated by spite, ideological zeal and personal gain. It also depicts the story of how the media was abused in the process, as news organizations and their reporters succumbed to this scandal phenomena in an unprecedented reversal of muckraking journalism.

Franco Zeffirelli fictionalizes the golden days of Maria Callas, opera’s most notorious diva, in this luminous tribute to one of the greatest singers of the 20th century packed with some of the great actors of our time. Fanny Ardant portrays the brilliant and impetuous Callas, coaxed out of her self-imposed exile by her long-time friend and former manager, Larry Kelly (Jeremy Irons) to star in a film version of Carmen. The film project re-ignites her passion for performance and rekindles her friendship with Larry, long ago estranged by her difficult nature. The outstanding supporting cast includes Joan Plowright as a music critic and life-long friend of Callas’, the smoldering Gabriel Garko as Callas’ May-December leading man Don José, and dreamy newcomer Jay Rodan as Larry’s artist boyfriend, Michael, who is inspired by Callas’ recordings to create beauty.
