Dougie Lamkin, many time world trials champion, hails from Silsden in Yorkshire, England. Not forgetting his roots he appears in local trials on the hills where he learnt the trade. The film is on one such day. I was trying out my new clockwork Super-8 camera with Kodak Pan-X film which I processed myself.

Once a month the old mill engine at Bancroft Mill, Barnoldswick is run. It is a Corlis valve compound engined.
