  • PUNKCAST#77301 - This is the opening number of the punkcast VCD of The Long Blondes' show at NYC's Cake Shop last midsummer, one of the most popular we have ever produced. The song 'Lust In The Movies' was also the band's very first single in the UK. The band hails from Sheffield, home of some of the best classic post-punk, and currently a thriving hotbed of new music. The mix is a bit uneven, as the band settles down and Cake Shop sound guy gets a handle on them, but the song is bound to hook you to the Long Blonde sound. More info on http://punkcast.com/773

  • PUNKCAST#352305 Live at Mighty Robot, Brooklyn, Oct 24 2003. In 2003 Swedish band Revlon 9 had a palpable hit in NYC with this song, and it is still popular in the clubs. On the crest of their fame they visited and played the ulracool Mighty Robot loft in Williamsburg. Since then Mighty Robot has closed down and the band have changed their name to Revl9n. Note the boy bassplayer playing his bass by banging it into the ceiling and rubbing it on the mikestand. This file is ipod-compatible .m4v. More info and real preview on http://punkcast.com/352
