  • Original Air Date: 10 April 1998 Ted's chances of beating Dick Byrne at the All Priests Over 75's Five a Side Football championship, are severely reduced after the best player in the team dies and Jack overdoses on Dreamy Sleepy Nighty Snoozy Snooze. Ted however finds a way round this completely ludicrous situation and all looks well until Dougal messes it up again. This episode and the next, are the only Part 1 & 2 episodes in the series. The storyline of this episode continues into the next. This episode marks the final appearances of Father Dick Byrne (Maurice O'Donoghue) and Father Cyril MacDuff (Don Wycherley) on the series.

  • sixth episode of season one. The nature of this episode suggests that it was going to be the last episode ever (well it was the last in the season one anyway) Here Father Jack has got quite old and passed away and it was his last wish for Ted and Dougal to spend the night in the chapel with him before the burial. Basic storyline which has been greatly elaborated in order to encompass some good humor. The passing away of Father Jack was the sort of thing you'd have as an ending to the series anyway as well as the cliffhanger that was present at the very end, which must have shown their interest in another season.

  • Original Air Date: 24 April 1998 (Season 3, Episode 7) Mrs. Doyle is elated to discover that she's won a chance to meet her idol Eoin Mc Love. Eoin is the latest thing to hit the pop scene (think Daniel O' Donnell). During his visit to Craggy Island, Eoin is stalked by the Island's senior citizen population and envied by Father Dougal. Oh yes, and he has no willy.

  • Original Air Date: 1 May 1998 (Season 3, Episode 8) The final long awaited episode of the last series and really looks like the end for Father Ted's life in Craggy Island, when an American priest visits and sees he has potential and asks him to go back to America with him and earn lots more money that he does in Craggy Island. Ted is faced with a dilemma, should he go and get a better life, but lose his friends? Should he stick with what he is already familiar with? And did anyone told Jack, Dougal and Mrs. Doyle that they were not meant to be going with him? A tough choice for the finale of all finales for Ted. ------------------------------

  • Original Air Date: 29 March 1996 (Season 2, Episode 4) A beach lifeguard's old grey whistle has been stolen and it makes the headlines of the local papers (shows how much goes on there) and Father Dougal is accused of taking it, so Ted tries to defend him. A really silly episode really, which goes on for a bit regarding an old cheap whistle and why it was so special. Dougal is eventually cleared of the theft as it is quite clear that he is not capable of doing such a thing (as if we never knew already) Again some of the parts, like the constant "reminders" of the whistle can be quite annoying, but the show was quite good on the whole.

  • Original Air Date: 21 April 1995 The first ever episode of Father Ted sees the arrival of Funland, the world's most cataclysmic travelling funfair, to Craggy Island. Funland is set up in The Field (it isn't really a field but it has less rocks in it than most places), however Ted has unknowingly arranged to meet a film crew there for an interview for 'Faith of Our Fathers'. In the confusion of the funfair, Dougal meets the film crew who mistake him for Ted, and he clutches his chance to tell the world his innermost thoughts on life, religion and the spider baby.

  • Father Stone is a very boring priest and when he goes to stay at Craggy Island, Father Ted Crilly tries to do his best to get rid of him, but nothing works. Finally, Father Ted seems to get his wish, although not in the way he wanted and he's full of remorse. Some funny moments here, especially when Father Stone's parents come to visit, although in the whole this episode appears to be a little flat.
