Mountain Lake PBS in conjunction with the Federal Drug Agents Foundation will produce and air a program about the war against illegal drugs. In a special Mountain Lake Journal program, the station will present its investigation of the war on drugs – America’s other war – on Thursday, May 15th starting at 8:00 p.m.

North Country Mission of Hope’s original focus was to provide emergency assistance caused by the damage of hurricane “Mitch” but they soon realized that their relief efforts would surpass emergency needs.
