This is a small taste of the sexier side of FMW legend Megumi Kudo, from the FMW "Torn to Shreds" DVD. She has a modeling video called "Squall" that shows a lot more, and I do mean MORE.
March 30, 1994 - Yumiko Hotta & Takako Inoue defend the UWA Tag titles against Las Cachorras Orientales (Mima Shimoda & Etsuko Mita)
Las Cachorras Orientales are at it again, in this great match from the show that brought us the classic Hokuto/Toyota match - Destiny. Everybody's lookin' good and aggressive as usual, but JAGUAR is the one who looks EXTRA kittenish here... Meow, indeed!
This match is from GAEA Japan's 4th anniversary show in April of 1999. Just a few months prior to this, her longtime tag team partner Lioness Asuka debuted in Chigusa's promotion...but the reunion wasn't actually a happy one, as you'll see at the beginning of this clip. It all leads up to this match, with control of the entire promotion on the line.
Jumping Bomb Angels vs Bull Nakano & Dump Matsumoto - October 10, 1985
Here is a good match from the same show that brought you that classic 30 minute match with Manami Toyota and Blizzard Yuki, a masked Sakie Hasegawa (if you haven't checked that out, PLEASE do), Wrestlemarinpiad '94 EX. This time a very young Mariko Yoshida and Kaoru Ito take on Las Cachorras, who are rocking the purple gear like no one else can. LCO were still the JWP tag champs at this point, but this is a non-title match. Wrestlemarinpiad '94 EX (a follow up show to Wrestlemarinpiad '94) can be found at Highspots.com...in VHS form for $10, and DON'T tell me you don't still have at least one working VCR (*smirk*). Get it where I've gotten it, which is here: http://www.highspots.com/product.asp?id=6297
The four members of the beloved ARSION stable CAZAI are here for a tag match from Starlet '99. Ah yes, April 1999, when AKINO still had a first name (Mika). Also, this marked Ai Fujita's official debut in ARSION (though she started out wrestling in Mexico the year before), predating her now classic ganguro look. It's a tag match chock full of good humor and cool moves - just what you'd expect from these "Girls with Attitude".

Aja Kong/Mayumi Ozaki vs Sonoko Kato/Meiko Satomura
This is one of GAEA Japan's greatest matches, which is fitting since this happens during it's 4th Anniversary show. This marked a big turning point in the still young career (at the time) of Meiko Satomura. Check it out to find out way. This match is a winner all the way!
A better quality version of this great match from Tournament ARS '99

Fujita/Hamada/Akino/Candy vs ASARI/Starr/Apache/Princess Sugey
August 22, 1999 - It was only a matter of time before we get some CAZAI (Cat's Eye) up in here, and here it is, from Tournament ZION '99. Clipped as usual, but at the beginning we see clips of the debut of the short lived stable CAZAI (AI Fujita, AKINO, Candy Okutsu & Ayako Hamada). The Cazai Quartet take on Chaparrita ASARI and her buddies from Mexico - Linda Starr, Princess Sugey, and Mari Apache.
From GAEA Mega Ride 2002, this is the "unedited version" of the AAAW tag title match - D-FIX (Mayumi Ozaki & KAORU) vs Ayako Hamada & Meiko Satomura. Fun stuff!
Momoe Nakanishi & Nanae Takahashi & Kaoru Ito & Tomoko Watanabe -vs- Manami Toyota & Mima Shimoda & Etsuko Mita & Kumiko Maekawa - (Elimination Match) 2/28/01
Candy Okutsu vs Kyoko Inoue - May 22, 1994
The former Tokyo Sweethearts (Mima Shimoda & Manami Toyota) defend the WWWA titles against the former Dream Orca (Etsuko Mita and Toshiyo Yamada) in a very exciting 2 out of 3 falls match, from Mima Shimoda's 10th Anniversary video. Keep an eye on the poor ring announcer who had to dig out of a mountain of streamers...FOUR times, haha.
For the first time online, Yumi Fukawa's emotional retirement from wrestling, her final match and ceremony - March 20, 2001
All Japan Women vs JWP - Hikari and Manami have equally good taste in sleek ring gear, but the similarity ends there...or does it? This was part of the Japan Grand Prix '93 tournament, by the way.
Itsuki Yamazaki takes on the then freelancing (before freelancing was cool) Shinobu Kandori in JWP, October 10, 1991. Kandori joined LLPW a few months later and stayed there for the rest of her career.
This was Mima Shimoda's first retirement at AtoZ's debut show. To be frank with you, I didn't like the way this retirement played out at all, and I'm glad it didn't last. It starts with AtoZ owner Yumiko Hotta reading a letter from Shimoda's old mentor Akira Hokuto. The retirement ceremony (or so they call it) features not one but TWO matches, one with Ai Fujita, leading into a match with the guest referee of the first match, Jinsei "Hakushi" Shinzaki. Even Etsuko Mita doesn't quite improve things. I hope her 2nd go at a send off will work out better than this one...
