On one of the nicest (and longest in terms of daylight) days of 2007, I walked about 13 miles ove a period of about 5 hours from my home in Clifton Park to the vicinity of where my daughter lives in Troy, near the RPI campus. Part 3 shows the heart of the Village of Green Island, which reminded me of the quiet neighborhoods of Queens, in New York City.

On one of the nicest (and longest in terms of daylight) days of 2007, I walked about 13 miles from my home in Clifton Park to the vicinity of where my daughter lives in Troy, near the RPI campus. Naturally, I brought my camera. Part 2 moves from the hisoric industrial area of Cohoes to the equally historic downtown area of this small city. I was pleased to see signs of renewal, but I had the sidewalks pretty much to myself.

Bay St. Lois is a bay and also is the name of the town to the west of the bay. At the time of my 2008 trip, the town appeared to be just beginning to rebuild after Katrina. The bridge crossing the bay to Pass Christian had recently been replaced. YouTube Veoh 0:54
