  A short video that I created for a film class at UCSD. The plot was based on personal experiences, but highly fictionalized. snail obviously represents the girl, but at the same time, it's believed in many cultures (esp. Egyptian) that it is also a symbol of hibernation and resurrection. For this video, the theme of resurrection was focused. The images in between the segments show actual scars on my body that I gained from life-threatening accidents and injuries. They represent and foreshadow the hurt that the main protagonist goes through. Also the snail is present around my scars, because every time, I survived from those accidents and injuries, I always feel like I've been resurrected.
