QUANTUM LEAPS Over the past half century the question of 'how to save the world' has been near or at the top of the formal or INFORMAL to-do lists of nearly every scientist in the world. And thus far of all this PhD's in the sciences we can find no comprehensive blueprint to shift the paradigm sufficient to solve the problem. Until now. And it's not a product of the scientific community. In the last 40 years we have lost 90 percent of the worlds big fish. The contamination of the entire marine food chain brings to light oceans that are dying. The United Nations has recently identified 150 places where war is expected to break out over water. The atmosphere is breaking down. The worlds scientists have give us ten years to change our energy needs to something clean --worldwide or there will begin an irreversible cultural and psychic rupture on this Earth that will be unstoppable. Today there are 35 thousand corporate lobbyists in our government with more on the way. The influence of greed ... is 350 times a intense as when Nixon was sent home. This means that every candidate, every politician, every secretary, every boss of all the major parties has a "stop button" on their back, and means just about any reform legislation that comes before them can be blocked. This is why so many problems within our borders have been allowed to run amok for three decades, it's because the reforms have been quietly stopped. To do nothing in the face of such vital need is unacceptable. And to simply step onto the pre-made footsteps of failure is equally as unacceptable as doing nothing at all
