12 Months with no new BSG? There must be some kinda way outta here...
More Starbuck the crazy captain hunting her while whale... and this time she catches a Leoben just before her crew decides to Mutiny. A lot happens in this episode, but did it keep your attention? Did it give you your BSG fix? Matt and Nat enjoyed some parts more than others... what about you? Hit us up at BSGcast.com and let us know! ~Matt + Nat
It’s a completely two-sided review for Punisher: War Zone, with one of us madly in love with the dark live-action romp through the pages of Marvel Knights favourite hero, and the other simply unimpressed with comic violence pushed past the point of enjoyable. Where do your feelings fall on this third installment of the Punisher franchise?
Gaeta’s Mutiny is on, and we’ve got murder on the Galactica… it’s like the start of Season two, Cylons ot included. And that’s where all the terrifying goodies are. It goes without saying that we loved the episode, and watching one of our most beloved characters get on the wrong side of Adama made use both very uncomfortable. Now THAT’s good TV. ~Matt + Nat
This episode of Battlestar Galactica seems to be a return to form leading into what will hopefully be a stellar last few episodes for season 3, and Matt + Nat have plenty to say about this politically and socially charged story, written by Jane Espenson, of Buffy/Angel/Firefly fame.
We both got a kick out of Wanted as an action rollercoaster with shades of Matrix aspirations, though it didn't quite live up to the expectations set by some of the rumours... or set by the first 10 minutes of the film. But it's a great ride that's definitely worth seeing -- if you've already seen Dark Knight that is. But if you hit the snack bar, make sure to bring back something for Angelina Jolie. She looks like she could use the meal. ~Matt + Nat
Back in June, Matt was ready to give The Incredible Hulk a pretty mediocre review, but now that the 3-Disc DVD has been released with 45 minutes of deleted scenes, Matt and Nat agree that this is the ONLY way to see the movie. We like it so much, we want to give away a 3-Disc set to a fellow geek on YourGeekNews.com that leaves the best comment comparing Ang Lee's 2003 Hulk with Louis Leterrier's The Incredible Hulk! In this 3-Disc set, characters are developed, Edward Norton is given a chance to really act, all kinds of emotional beats are picked up and William Hurt is given some real time to shine. We love it! ~Matt + Nat
A review that is split down the middle as Nat is a card carrying Twilighter who's in love with the books and invested in the characters but Matt had no preconceptions of Twilight before the movie was released... and in fact had set the bar pretty low based on the ad campaign and our own preview of it. The movie had more than a few surprises in store in both cases! ~Matt + Nat
This is the first of our BSGcast LIVE Episode, and the best comment will go into a very small hat of only five names to win the 32″ cPanel Flat Panel Television… so think hard about the episode, and about the BSGcasts we’ll be posting over the next week, and maybe, just maybe, you’ll have one heck of a Frak-Party of your own when you watch the Series Finale on this beautiful Magnavox! ~Matt + Nat

WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE PREVIEW: Sendak + Jonze = Awesome?
http://YourGeekNews.com for more! Watch scenes from the movie and interviews with the cast and crew! It's taken decades to finally happen, but Maurice Sendak's beloved children's book, Where the Wild Things Are has finally been adapted to the silver screen. The only thing less predictable is that the director who would accomplish this feat is Spike Jonze! With a history of wild music videos and MTV's Jackass under his belt, he'd seem an unlikely choice, but he's been friends with Sendak for years and after plenty of buzz about re-fanging the controversial 60's book for a modern audience, this creature effect driven story about childhood is finally ready!
Matt + Nat take a look at everyone's favourite part of the Battlestar Galactica Season 3 Box Set: the Deleted Scenes. Counting down with highlights of each episode of Season 3, if you haven't bought the Box Set, here's your chance for a sneak peek!
It really seemed like Baltar was the only guy they threw in the brig for the whole back half of Season 3... but can we really be sure? Poor guy...
What do you get when you cross an all-star, Oscar nominated cast with a few tonnes of hulking metal? You get Jon Favreau's IRON MAN! With some serious pressure to be a blockbuster, Marvel has all the makings of a winner as their first at bat as a production company. Matt's more excited about this one than he has been about a movie in a while, and Nat can't wait to see her some Robert Downey Jr. So really, everyone's a winner on this one. ~Matt + Nat
Matt and Nat both got more than they bargained for with Hancock. Whether that's because they set the bar low, or Hancock's terrible ad campaigns just didn't give the movie enough credit, or Will Smith's charm just wins every time, who knows? But it was worth the watch, and there's more story to this film than you probably think. And it's a good one.
We've not just got a review of the first 5 "Face of the Enemy" Webisodes, but also some news about a very cool contest from the Auction Network that will get you inside the Propworx Battlestar Galactica Auction and be a part of Sci-Fi history!

THE SPIRIT REVIEW: It's Better Than You've Been Told!
When we went to the theatre, neither of us really wanted to be there... possibly lower expectations than we've ever had for any film ever. Maybe that's why we enjoyed "The Spirit" more than anyone we've talked to. It's a film noir comicbook that takes Frank Miller's last film, "Sin City", and re-applies every single trick he knows to great effect. Despite all the poor reviews for it, we think that if you liked "Sin City", there's really no reason that you'd dislike "The Spirit"! ~Matt + Nat
Thanks to an industry contact who has to remain nameless, weâve managed to get our hands on a copy of the much publicized Wolverine Workprint⦠and boy do we have some things to say about it! Some good, some not so good, but this version is by no means the final film weâll be seeing in theatres in May. It, in fact, is the version that lead to Fox commissioning millions of dollars in re-shoots and changes. Will that make it better? Worse? Thereâs no way to know yet, but this will give us some rare insight to the process of making a blockbuster! ~Matt + Nat
YourGeekNews.com: This movie seems to have it all: from a dream cast of genre stars, to a director with a vision of a moving comicbook, to the Raphael vs. Leonardo showdown that Turtles fans have been speculating on and betting over for almost 15 years! All signs point to this being a big winner for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and we’ve got some interviews with the cast, as well as the director, and more exclusive scenes and clips than you can shake a stick at! So sit back, relax and watch four little green men rock your world! ~Matt + Nat
