ComicCon 101: James provides answers to "what is ComicCon" as he walks the floor. Attendees are showcased in costume as they "nerd out". James stops for a picture and talks to the comics he read growing up. A game of Donkey Kong provides an aerial view of the show. Garret plays a video like (like the audience) and James reiterates their locale.
This is the pilot of our ground-breaking effort - shot from the handlebars of my '02 V-Rod. Thanks to all the guys on the ride to Sturgis.
Segment 1 is our introduction to James, his entourage and Garret in San Diego (like every other fan) grabbing a bite at a local notable and heading through the crowds to CominCon. We get a glimpse of the city, the convention center exterior and wrap up with pent up demand for the "more to come". The "experience" does start for most outside of the center. It also provides a logical spot to play the trailer so the references, promotions, talent and comments make sense.
Lo-Res: See how one small group made their voices heard. Rally speakers include Jennifer Milanovich / Organizer, Vojin Joksimovich / Author of "The Kosovo Crisis" and "The Revenge of the Prophet", Miro Copic / Business Leader, Cedomir Kransnic / Student, Marko Rakic / Student, Fr. Bratislav Krsic / Priest, St. George Serbian Orthodox Church - Music by Tsar Lazar Male Choir
When you open your doors you never know who is gonna come in ;-)
Autograph Signing at ComicCon: James, Garret and Kevin meet and greet fans.
Fun with Toys: James and the entourage plays with light sabers at Star Wars, a fan shows his prowess, and another offers "free hugs". Lots of comics along the way to visit the Troma Booth. James meets Lloyd Kauffman (of Troma fame) and receives a warm welcome and kind words. He reacts to his idols praising his work. He wraps up with a "thank you", plugs the movie and release date and walks into the crowd.
