"The Town Where It Is Not Snowing"After asking Noe out, Shinichirō tells her about his picture book that he is making about the rooster Raigomaru. Ai cannot get over what happened with her and Shinichirō. Noe's brother goes out on a date with Hiromi, and she finds out the true reason why Shinichirō is going out with Noe and also why she is going out with Noe's brother. Hiromi cuts her date short after she speaks her mind to Noe, though she realizes that she acted liked Shinichirō's mother since she shows resentment towards Noe. She asks Noe's brother to give her a ride to a "town where it does not snow" in order to get away from things.
"What Kind of Joke is That?"Aiko tries to tell Shinichirō her feelings but is interrupted when Miyokichi arrives. Miyokichi later goes shopping with Aiko and the latter stomps out of a shop flustered and tells Miyokichi that she bought the sweater that Shinichirō had picked up before. Miyokichi gets the hint and feels troubled. While frustrated about Jun approaching Hiromi during school, Shinichirō asks Noe to stop bothering him for while and ends up getting his belt being pulled out by Noe. Jun goes out with Hiromi on a date Sunday, and after they arrive back at her home, Jun tells her that Shinichirō and Noe are going out together. Later that night, Shinichirō overhears Hiromi and his mother's quarrel and has a tussle with his mother and Hiromi. Subsequently, Shinichirō finds out from Hiromi that he and Hiromi might share the same father.
"A Farewell + A Vampire"(Note: Ep 4 is filler)Three boys have made a fanclub for Moka, Kurumu, and Yukari. They blame Tsukune for the fact that the three girls don't pay any attention to them and plan to get rid of him. Tsukune, on the other hand, is feeling sad that he can't protect the girls due to his lack of strength, and that he is always being saved by the girls. In fact, he even plans to leave the school because of that! However, in the end, it is revealed that he only wanted the bus driver to deliver the letters he wrote to his family.
"Must Not Violate Paradise"During a rain storm, Razhel, Alzeid and Baroqueheat are taken in to a mansion for a night where two sisters live. The older sister, Madeila, does not want them to stay, but her younger sister let them in. The younger sister asks Alzeid and Baroqueheat to follow Madeila into the cave near their mansion if she goes searching for her late grandfather's treasure. Madeila asks Razhel to accompany her in searching for the treasure and they all head out during the rain storm. In the end, the treasure turns out to be a fossil of a winged creature which reflects the morning light. Remembering this, Madeila is inspired and is going to run away from home for the time being.
"Kagura"After the events of the beach trip, Hayami starts to ignore Takuma at school, and Hinata continuously presses Takuma to come along with her. Takuma goes to ask Hamaji about what happened between Hinata and Hayami, and he tells him the whole story. Hinata and Hayami had once been good friends, but Hinata's family and much of the rest of the village burned Hayami's house to the ground, and severed the ties between Hinata and Hayami. Takuma goes to see Hinata at her home and drags her over to when Hayami lives across the bridge. Hinata becomes upset about how she has treated Hayami in the past and apologizes to her in tears. Hayami accepts her as a friend again. After the credits in the omake section, there is a parody of Gundam 00.
"H2O" Takuma and Hayami are saved from the village elder's wrath when Hotaru arrives with the police, who place her grandfather in jail. Oddly, Takuma's mentality has experienced a drastic change, shifting to a child-like state, with the belief that Hayami is his mother. He is sent to Tokyo, for further treatment, and is accompanied by Hayami. Life goes well for the two, though Takuma still recalls Hayami to some extent. On one day, Hayami leaves Takuma's side to go to the aid of a child on the railroad tracks, leading Takuma to remember that his mother had never committed suicide, but had attempted to save a life.Upon realising this, he regains his sight and mentality, but is unable to stop Hayami from crossing in front of an oncoming train. Years pass, and Takuma returns to the village. After building a windmill on the very same hill where he met Hayami, he thinks of her, and encounters a younger version of Otoha, who brings Hayami to him.
"Hayami"Takuma is shown around town by Hinata and two of her friends, and while out they come across a suspension bridge. Takuma is told that a monster lives on the other side and that he should never cross the bridge. Despite the warning, Takuma crosses the bridge later that day and finds Hayami who lives a poor lifestyle in two old buses. At school the next day, Takuma tries to protect Hayami from being beaten up, though Hinata has to intervene in order to stop it.
"Hotaru"This episode reveals the truth behind the Kagura family. Hinata was revealed to be Hotaru her dead younger sister. Once Hinata and Hotaru went out together, unfortunately Hinata accidentally falls and drowned. The kagura family were shocked as the successor was dead. As a result the Kagura family decided to lie to the public that it was Hotaru who died instead of Hinata. The Kagura family instructed Hotaru to take on the role as Hinata. The episode also reveals Hotaru being overshadowed by Hinata in everything she does. Hinata comes to a decision after receiving notes from her friends for being absent from school for three days. She completed her picture book which she stopped drawing after assuming the role as Hinata. The picture book was a story drawn by the then Hotaru which is named "Tale Of The Spirit Of The Sounds Of Time" the story was about a person called Otoha who was a spirit and only a 'chosen one' is able to see her.Otoha was actually the dead Hinata while the chosen one was Takuma.
"Succubus and Vampire"Tsukune must wait for a month for the bus to return in order to return to the human world. In the meantime, he tries not to draw any attention to himself, a task made nearly impossible by the beautiful vampire Moka, who constantly hangs around him, inciting the jealousy of the male students. If that wasn't enough trouble, another popular girl named Kurumu Kurono, a succubus with a grudge against Moka, attempts to seduce Tsukune.
"Summer Vacation and Vampire"Ruby animates a fallen garigarious, slashing Tsukune's back. As Tsukune falls back unconscious, Moka cries out in anger and transforms into her vampire state, even though the rosary is still attached to her. Kurumu and Mizore, seeing Tsukune hurt, unleash their full potential and launch an all-out attack on Ruby, resulting in a huge explosion. The episode ends here, with a classic "to be continued...".
"Tsukune and Vampire"Tsukune is sentenced to execution, but Ruby returns and joins Moka and the others on an attack against the Public Safety Commission. Tsukune is burned at the stake by the leader of the Public Safety Commission, but his friends rescue him. After he is reunited with Moka, the leader of the Public Safety Commission severly injures Tsukune with a spear of fire. As his body goes limp, his hand removes the Rosary from Moka's chest.Moka's true vampire form quickly kicks the leader of the Public Safety Commission, then attempts to revive Tsukune by giving him her Vampire blood. Meanwhile, the Public Safety Commission Leader has returned in his monster form, a Fox that has control over fire.Note: to be based on Chapter 10 of the manga
"What Do I Want to Do..."After telling Shinichirō that he has to believe her about giving away her tears, Noe tells him of her mission to retrieve her tears. At school the following day, Noe starts paying extra attention to Shinichirō, such as waving to him while in P.E., or recieving seeds previously intended for the now-dead chicken Raigomaru. Hiromi takes notice in this, and tries to approach Noe on her own, though cannot communicate with her. Later, Hiromi asks Shinichirō to to introduce her to Noe, but after Noe learns of this, she approaches Hiromi herself. Noe instantly sees through her, and knows that Hiromi does not like her, though Noe is not angered by this. Hiromi later recounts this meeting to Shinichirō, confirming that she did not want to be Noe's friend to being with.
"Mathematics + Vampire"Every guy in school notices the math teacher Lolico-sensei and admires her beauty. Tsukune in the meantime has found that he is falling behind the others in math and with the mid-terms coming soon it doesn't look to good for him. Moka and the other girls want to help Tsukune with his math and it works at first. Lolico-sensei takes notice of this and advised him to have extra lessons with her and her alone. When Tsukune goes to see her for the lesson he finds there is even more to her that also meets the eye. When his personality changes after that his friends worry and try to find what is going on. Note: Based on Chapter 12 of the manga
"The Sun in the Palm of Your Hand (First Part)"Razhel and her two companions get lost but chance across a town which takes part in a type of sky burial where corpses are placed on stakes in a forest near town to decay and be eaten by birds. Razhel meets a young girl named Lalawel whose father runs an inn in town, and Razhel and her friends plan to stay there; Lalawel's father even gives Alzeid a clue as to his father's murderer. After Lalawel goes missing, Razhel and the others search for her and eventually discover that the town has changed since Lalawel was born eight years previous, and that there is growing belief that Lalawel's father participates in black magic in order to keep Lalawel alive.
"Tell Me Clearly, Write It Down Here"Noe once again tries to approach Shinichirō at school, but he shrugs her off, telling her that she does not understand his situation. Following this, Noe seeks out Hiromi but gets in a short fight with her while at school. Shinichirō realizes that Noe does like him a lot, due to all the attention she gives him, and after a little more persuasion from Jun, Shinichirō asks Noe to go out with him, albeit while somewhat embarrassed and looking away from her. Noe even asks him to say it again properly to her face, and write out "I love Noe" on the ground with stones. After school, Shinichirō goes to see Ai at her shop, and when he tells her that he is now going out with Noe, Ai rushes up to him and kisses him. Afterwards, Ai asks Shinichirō in tears to think about her as well.
"OK, Clap"While walking back to Shinichirō's house, Hiromi tells Shinichirō about her crush on Noe's brother, which hurts Shinichirō alot. The next day he leaves early for to try to avoid Hiromi; instead, he ran into Aiko. they go shopping and Shinichirō tells aiko about what happened. she tries to cheer Shinichirō up, but to no avail. When he goes back home, Hiromi asks Shinichirō if he is avoiding her because of what happened. Shinichirō replies in a way that hurts them both. The next day, Shinichirō runs into Noe. She drags him around town and explains why she is gathering tears. She manages to cheer Shinichirō up. the next morning, Shinichirō runs into Hiromi. While apologizing for yesterday, he accidentally uses soap instead of toothpaste and starts brushing his teeth. Hiromi and Shinichirō both laugh at this. Shinichirō is happy he was able to make her laugh.
"You're Having a Hard Time Flying..."Jun and Hiromi crash while on the motorcycle, but they do not get harmed. As a result of the accident, both Jun and Hiromi get suspended from school. Shinichirō's mother, who had previously shown hostile attitudes towards Hiromi, finally accepts her as her own child, and tells Hiromi that she made up the story about Hiromi being her husband's child. Shinichirō talks with Noe and gives her an update on the picture book. Noe hints that she knows where Shinichirō's true feelings lie, and she runs off back home.
"When the Flower Blooms"Razhel and her companions are traveling in the snowy mountains when a sudden avalanche comes barreling toward them, and in the midst of this, Razhel and the others are pulled down into another part of the mountain. They wake up to find a young albino girl named Ludovika, and members of the village comes to retrieve her. The village leader inquires to how Alzeid, who is also an albino, can go outside, and he responds that it does not take much to enable him to have a normal life. In the middle of the night, Alzeid overhears that the villagers are planning to kill them, so they leave, but Ludovika follows them and helps to guide them out of the forest. The village elder ends up attacking by using the trees, but Ludovika jumps into his attack in order to save Alzeid. Ludovika finally sees the blue sky, but she disappears in a flash of white flower petals. It turns out that Ludovika and the villagers were personifications of the surrounding forest.
Sunflower + VampireRuby wakes up in a tent surrounded by everyone and before she could act Tsukune puts a can up to her forehead for her to drink. They ask why she attacked when she tells them how badly witches have been treated and how they now want to destroy the sunflower fields where she and her master live. When she sees how everyone acts friendly amongst themselves she starts to have doubts and sneaks out later that night to go back to her master. When she gets there an event is triggered that causes her to attack Tsukune and the others when they go to find her. A massive battle ensues with everyone caught up into it. When a forbidden spell is used it will be up to them to see if Ruby lives or dies in the end. Note: Based on Chapter 14 of the manga
"Scarred Wound"While going through a town, Razhel and Alzeid run into a young boy named Elmier who is running from the police. When he is found with Razhel and Alzeid, they are all thrown in prison, where they meet up with Baroqueheat. After learning of Elmier's revenge for his father's death by the prison's supervisor, Razhel and the others easily escape their cells but are held up by the supervisor himself and many of the prisoners. In the end, they are all able to escape, but first Alzeid and Baroqueheat teach the supervisor a lesson by beating him up.
