    A view of a stereotypical Italian hillside town began our brief walking tour of Verona, Italy, on our way to Venice from Milan. Our Perillo Tours Familia saw the fabled balcony of Romeo and Juliet. More interesting than the balcony is the countless love notes stuck on the walls all around the entranceway to the balcony. The Perillo Tours website says "Shakespeare set 'Romeo and Juliet' in beautiful Verona. People can visit a tall ivy-laden balcony at 'Casa de Giulietta'. Although Juliet Capulet of Shakespeare's play did not live here, one can imagine her calling down to her Romeo from above.     Nassau, The Bahamas: a brief walking tour. One of the comedy acts on the ship later joked about this port of call, saying "That was a nice street." There were basically three or four shops along the street, which repeated over and over: booze, tee shirts, diamonds, repeat. We had already been to the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island, and were too tired from yesterday's arrival travel to try any of the other shore excursions available in Nassau. The Voyager was only in port from 7:AM to 2:PM, and we decided not to push it on the first day. jpmeyer.com

    Morning at sea from the Suite. Beautiful ocean view, and it seems I am still enamored with the many moods of the stateroom. Our stateroom attendant Rudy was exemplary. He has had experiences on other Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines ships, and he believes that ours is not the most elegant Royal Suite stateroom. I can't imagine what else they could add (other than maybe another half bath), but I'm looking forward to finding out! jpmeyer.com
