Comic Book Reviews: Simon Dark #5 and and Tiny Titans #1
We've got Newsarama Reviews of three more books in this episode. We're definitely recommending the very dark Simon Dark #5. There's lots of great qualities about this issue plus the art is really enjoyable. As for Nova Annual #1, we felt this was a well written annual that continues to move the story along in the Annihilation Conquest series. We also got our hands on the cute and cuddly Tiny Titans #1. We absolutely loved the cartoony style and it's definitely an enjoyable issue for all ages. Then in the Speed Round we review Ubu Bubu #1, Maintenance #8, Abe Sapien #1, Nightwing #141, and All New Atom #20. In our mailbag, a viewer asks if we could pull a "Quesada" (Like the Amazing Spider-Man Brand New Day series) and retcon any character or team, what would we do? Up first it's New Avengers #42. The guys like the story about Spiderwoman's past, and Alex makes a funny reference to Metalocalypse. Next it's Justice League of America #22.
