Presidential Candidate Bill Richardson Speaks To Culinary Union
In a meeting with Las Vegas Culinary Union Local 226, Governor Bill Richardson lays out some of his plans for the future of our country. I have heard him speak twice in person, and both times he has come across as someone who really could make a difference if elected president. There are no smoke and mirrors with him. He tells it like it is, speaks from the heart, is highly intelligent, has a tremendous resume that makes him well qualified for the position, and most of all, is sincere about what he says.
Another Stooge short, from 1958, this time with Moe, Larry, and Joe. Nightclub performer Larry wants Joe and his sister Tiny to join the act. The only problem is that Tiny is afraid to sing in front of people. They take her to a psychiatrist (Moe) who cures her, and the act is a success. Not one of the best shorts, but I posted it since it had Joe Besser.
An afternoon of fun for a bunch of Pandas.
With Joanna in town from Circleville, Ohio, we went out to dinner at Red Rock Resort and Casino to celebrate Tyler's birthday. He wasn't very happy about the servers bringing a slice of cake and us singing Happy Birthday. You know how some kids go through a phase. At any rate, the audio was screwed up when I converted it to a format that would allow me to edit the video. So enjoy the music and read the lips.
Our Christmas celebration. I decided to post this in it's entirety with no editing. Wanted you to experience it just like it was.
Another great Stooges short.
A Stooge short from 1944 that happens to include two of their classic vaudeville routines. The stooges are three small time actors looking for a job. They meet three girl dancers in the situation and get a small part in a big producers show at the shipyard. When the rest of the cast doesn't show up, the stooges and the girls must put on the whole show themselves. The show is a hit and the stooges marry the girls and head to Niagara Falls for their honeymoon.
A great Stooge short from 1940. The stooge's friend Jerry convinces them to take out an insurance on Curly and then have him act insane to collect. Moe and Larry put Curly on a leash and take him to the insurance doctor and have him act like a dog. Unfortunately, the insurance doctor wants to perform a brain operation (Cerebrum decapitation). The boys try to escape by hiding in the dog catchers wagon, but are caught and taken to the hospital. They escape again, this time by rigging a sheet to a gurney and sailing down the street, where they run into Jerry and knock him into wet cement.
Always one of the most stunning garden themes at Bellagio, this is the 2007 Chinese garden.
A photo video that partially shows what we did at the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Disney/Mgm Studios in Florida
And even more when you get to the junction of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
A really funny Stooge short from 1942, in this episode the stooges are potters in ancient Rome during the reign of Emperor Octopus Grabus. When the emperor orders all beautiful red-headed women to be brought before him so he can select a wife, Diana, a pretty red-head, seeks refuge with the stooges. Some soldiers find Diana's hiding place and they are all brought to the palace where the stooges escape and try to pass of Curly as Diana, having broken the emperor's glasses. Their ruse fails and they're caught by the palace guards as they try to escape.
This is the first video I've made of the 100th Anniversary of the Circleville Pumpkin Show in Circleville, Ohio, using all of the images I took of the pumpkins.
A great Stooge short from 1941. The stooges decide to get some easy money by having Curly slip on a bar of soap in a hotel lobby so they can sue the owner. Curly slips as planned but the hotel turns out to be run by an old lady who is about to lose her lease to the evil landlord. The stooges decide to help her fix up the place and start by beating up the landlord and stealing his watch. After their usual antics in renovating the place, the hotel is ready for the grand re-opening. The stooges put on a big show with a famous critic in attendance. Their corny act goes over poorly until Curly accidentally puts on a magicians coat and becomes a sensation and the place is a success.
From 1945, Moe is on trial for assaulting Curly and Larry with an ax. Moe relates how Curly and Larry took him on a hunting trip for his nerves. Out in the woods they confronted a bear which Curly and Larry stunned, and thinking it was dead, threw it in the back of their car, where it came awake, tossed Moe out and drove the car into a tree. The judge finds Moe not guilty and Moe promptly goes after Larry and Curly again with the ax.
A short feature on Yosemite.
Most of this video shows the kiddie rides. Hopefully, the editing will keep you watching.
A new ride at Walt Disney World's Epcot. It's Gran Fiesta in the Mexican Pavilion featuring Donald Duck and The Three Caballeros! Disney fans should appreciate the music when the credits roll.
Our nephew, Daniel Barrett, spent the night at our house at my wife's request. Here he is with Nanay.
Pretty wild footage of a flash flood coming downstream and taking over a road. Here in Las Vegas, this is a common occurence (when it storms) but still people ignore the warnings and end up having to be rescued.
