I made this film for an event curated by uber-videoblogger, Mica Scalin, called FEAR REVERE. Mica asked 13 artists to do a horror video remix. Other videos from the event can be seen at http://publicaddress.typepad.com/fear/ Your Metal Brain marries two of my favorite things -- weird Japanese things (in this case, Shinya Tsukamoto's "Tetsuo: The Iron Man") and the coming technology Singularity. You couldn't tell it from the film, but I'm looking forward to the Singularity. Nonetheless, I'm still a bit . . . fearful!
I had the great good fortune of being in Chicago this Feb. 29. Our friends Byron and Karen threw a party. B & K's friends are great, and, as you will see, very patient with having a camera in their faces. Damn photogenic and interesting too!!
I was recently hired to direct several episodes of a new Fox action series. Here is a promotional video.
We had some nice weather so I walked about looking for a video. I found decay, death, and development.
I don't have this boss anymore. Never did really, but somebody did. So, what will you do when the big one goes off?
Wet. Reproduction. Bursting. Verdant. Fragrant. Warm. Spawn. Love.
Lots of family dysfunction in this show! Enjoy!
War and lies. Like peanut butter and jelly.
Poor Black Stripes White Tummy! What will I do without it. A lost dog tale.
Ok, here we go! Over the next 26 weeks I'm republishing all 52 episodes of my Next To Heaven web project. For a nice writeup of the project go to http://newteevee.com/2007/07/09/karinas-capsule-next-to-heaven/ I hope you take the ride.
This is the first of many trips to Hell taken by NTH. I hate tanning salons; they just rub me the wrong way. FYI.
Its a bad day when your car goes up in flames . . . but it can be even worse.
Once again, sometimes its the little things.
Linda Hesh on vocals, yeah.
Something from the early Hopper Video days (way back in 2005!).
Sometimes it's the baby. Sometimes it's the sitter. Usually, one of the two is weird.
Welcome to the hangover kids!!
Shoot. Punch. Slice. Stab. Kill, kill, and kill some more . . . That's Entertainment!
Sometime it's the little things that get to you.
