cover of classic song by Simon and Garfunkel. I originally sang it in the lower octave like the actual song, but in the end I decided it was better to do it an octave above. Even though I could hit all the lower notes, it was harder to hear and didn't sound as good.
cover of the song by Sixpence Nonethericher
I wrote this song (gasp! Yes, I wrote it) for my friend Yingying's beta fish, Mr. Chan. Unfortunately he passed away before I could actually meet him. We planned to use this song to seranade all the lady fishies at the pet store. Here are the lyrics: This is a song for Mr. Chan He really needs a girlfriend Mr. Chan is Yingying's fish A bachelor who can take your heart And grant its every wish Who can resist his fishy charm? Sure wish I were more his type I'd swim with him all day long So all you ladies better get in line 'Cause his beta-babe is oh-so-fine This is a song for Mr. Chan He really needs a girlfriend
playing along with the beginning of Black Mountain Side by The Celtic Tribute to Led Zeppelin. No, I don't really know how to play it, I was just messing around and following it by ear. That's why there are several mistakes. *shrugs* Oh well.
solo that goes along with it.
My acoustic cover of the Aerosmith song. Starts out slow, speeds WAY up. Cuts off at the end.
Ingrid Michaelson cover. I've only heard it a few times so I'm sorry if it's inaccurate. I just thought the words were really sweet (and somewhat amusing at times) so I had to sing it.
To understand this song you need a little background information. My friend Annie and I liked this guy when we were in middle school and we nicknamed him "Lemon". Likewise, we nicknamed several other boys with "food" names so nobody would know who we were refering to when we talked about them. Lemon turned out to be a major jerk so I wrote this ridiculously repetitive and silly song (keep in mind I was like 13) dedicated to him.

Me playing my own version of the theme from "Fruits Basket"- Japanese
cover of American Hi-Fi - "Surround" The vid. glitches in some places making it seem like my timing is off, when it's actually NOT for once. Obviously this is my own acoustic adaptation, not how the actual song necessarily goes. In this case I was too lazy to drop tune. It's minus the little intro- and I play it way, WAY faster than the original (as I usually seem to do).
cover of the Barenakedladies song. I had so much fun with this one that I didn't even really concentrate on my singing (which is why I'm off key). It's not really one that I take too seriously :-P
Another The Beets cover, woo! Yoodle-eh-yee-hoo.
Another Christine Lavin cover. You can blame the crappiness of my voice partly on my own bad singing skills and partly on my recent case of laryngitis. Again, I don't play it like she does, I just play the chords beause I'm not nearly as talented as she is.
my cover of the song "Couple" by former Korean group Sechskies. It's sort of remix-ish in that the chords don't all match up.
dedicated to Michael James Geer <3
cover of the Cat Stevens song. Another song record post-laryngitis. I'm still working on my high notes, so I apologize for the overall TERRIBLENESS of this video.
cover of the popular commercial for the Snickers bar. The guy who oiginally played it was a lefty, too.
"Another Perfect Day" - American Hi-Fi You'll notice that, because my timing is atrocious, I tapped my pick in the place where a drum solo should have been.
