This is the opening to BioShock. It shows off some of the lighting and pixel shaders in this excellent program.
I unexpectedly ran across a badger bomber
Figured I'd do an assault on an enemy base at Sundown too.
A glimpse at both the terrain detail, and an Alien in Crysis
Just a start up and takeoff of an F-16 in Falcon 4 AF.
Just a view of most of the islands as found in ArmA. One thing I noticed, the higher you go, the louder the ambient wind noise!
Just the intro to Rome Total War
Just a bit of a look at the water effects found in BioShock
The first level of the game played out. This is only the first few percent of the entire game. This video has been split in 2 to conform to Veoh's new restrictions of 20 minutes per video, or suffer only a 5 min preview. This is part 1 of this two part series. Still playing on Delta level, and well, talk about things not going as planned! I planned on sniping half the enemies from a distance on this one, but it seems one of them snuck up on me without my knowledge. As you will see I heard him but figured he couldn't see me in my little hiding place, but seems I was wrong. Long story short, it took me about a minute or two to get a handle on things and to get my situational awareness back, and then I just started eliminating them one by one. I guess as they say, the best laid plans fall apart the moment the shooting starts!
A bit on what you can do with a nano suit in the game Crysis
Figured I'd show off a little of the single player gameplay in COD 4. I'll probably do a couple more missions a little later on, but this should show off the graphics - that is unless the .flv format messes it up! :)
This is the new toy I found in the National Guard compound. Figured I'd try it out!
An SA-3 unit lit me up and fired. I returned the favor with a HARM shutting down the two missiles. Thinking the threat was gone, I returned to my waypoints. However, a second SA-3 battery lit me up from the same airport and fired 2 missiles, which again was met with a HARM but it missed. The 2 missiles forced me down, followed by a second volley of two missiles, followed immediately by one more. In total, 7 SAM's were fired bringing me down low, with the very last nearly getting me (I was low and slow, trying to climb out), until I turned into it. I used a half inverted roll from a perpendicular position to force a long lead pursuit by the incoming missiles. This causes a massive energy bleed on them, resulting in not enough energy to complete the intercept. However, this also forces you down into AAA territory. -X
As they say, why go in through the front door, when you can go in the back? Of course, going in the back door isn't always the best way, but in this case, it is the best way. Take the high ground when you can. Notice, I quickly dispatch the 8 guards defending the passage up the mountain. Three fall to the silenced pistols, at least 2 fall to the grenades, and another 3 fall to the AK. I heard the last guy, but I admit, he did surprise me a bit. Of course, that means you just get to deal with him earlier than you expected - he is quickly dispatched.
Still continuing to record my progress. The sun going down and the light effects created by it going down has to be shared. Of course, the Helo coming up the river is not a welcome sight, especially since it not only can kill you normally, but if you kill it, what goes up, must come down! Must move quickly! One curiosity - what are the two smoke clouds in the distance in the view finder of the RPG? Bug? Notice one thing - a silenced rifle at range has little effect on body armor. It makes aiming for a headshot mandatory.
