When Kylie was a child, a friend of her's mysteriously disappeared. Now, a ghost who looks like him has turned up. To stop and save him, Kylie calls upon a ghost the Real Ghostbusters captured years ago: the Grundel. Now the EGB has to deal with two ghosts and one is out for revenge.

Peter's vaction in Hudson Bay is rudely interrupted when a new ghost emerges in the waters of the city, that's at least 2 miles wide, and 4 miles across. The EGBs and RGBs find out that it's a sort of, baby Bermuda Triangle. They try two times to stop it with all their proton energy combined. They manage to drive it back and weaken it, but they do little in the way of stopping it. As it starts to invade the city, and even manages to devour the Twin Towers, Roland reveals the Ecto 3 and 4. A giant truck with an extra large Proton Gun on top, and a garbage truck transfered into a trap. They "corner " the entity, and manage to stop it once and for all, and both the Extreme Ghostbusters and the Real Ghostbusters have Thanksgiving dinner together.
The EGB find their nightmares becoming more real when a ghost tries to leave the dream world and enter ours by using a radio show, that makes listeners fall asleep.

There's been a string of power outages and the blame is falling to a group of people that live under the city. A young girl from the group gets help from the EGB, who find lightning demons are the real cause.

http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=F3D4ABAD22A92CF3 In the first half of the show, real-life ghostbuster and consultant to the TV show Ghost Whisperer, Mary Ann Winkowski shared some of her adventures with earthbound spirits. Spirits that don't cross over tend to linger in places where they had unfinished business or conflicts-- some locations can be quite mundane such as the office of a dentist or criminal attorney, she detailed. In her visits to funerals (which family members request), she interacts with the spirits of the deceased, whom she says are often standing by the photos of themselves so they can hear what people say about them. In one recent visit to a funeral home, she was shocked to see the body of the deceased posed in a recliner in front of a football game on TV. The man's spirit, standing nearby in a flannel shirt and jeans, said to her: "Isn't this a great idea instead of a casket?" Winkowski also talked about her only encounter with a demon, which took place around 40 years ago. At first she thought it was an animal-- it looked like a horse standing upright, but then she saw it had a human face. To lessen the activity of earthbound spirits, she suggested burning a smudge stick, and carrying it around the perimeters of a haunted location. The smoke makes the spirits lethargic, she explained
