La Patrulla del tiempo en el pais de los mandriles. Time Bokan ( 1975 ) llego a mexico y cautivo a los chiquitines.
La patrulla del tiempo en busca del Profesor Cronos, esta vez en el viejo Oeste. Podra Ratabari impedirlo?
Here something for all those aspiring to be Tatsunoko fans thanks to Tatsunoko vs Capcom. Doing some "Research" I discovered back in the 80s and 90s when VHS fansubs was the only way for an otaku to get their Anime fix. Well I discovered a group called Nora Inu G would fansub a lot of Tatsunoko series, especially Time Bokan (ie ALL the series). Good news is! I found one of their fansubs digitally converted! The bad news it's just one episode and it's only from the original Time Bokan. If someone out there reading this happens to have a VHS fansub, let me know and we can work something out!
To honor the release of Tatsunoko vs Capcom for the Wii, I thought I would dig up this obscure DVD, and not just directly rip it, but actually fix the subtitles in the official release. Mostly a lot of the names needed fixing (Kashan the Bionic Man->Neo-Human Casshern, Donzler->Tonzura, Garacter -> Galactor). I've also restored a lot of the honorifics and unique Japanese phrases and mannerisms like Ara hora sa sai and Omochama's "Koron". It's still far FAR from a perfect translation, or even a modern "professional" translation. But I find it much better and accurate than the really low budget official DVD. Enjoy!
It would probably sound something like this...maybe :p From the obscure Time Bokan OVA. Witness craptacular dubbing at its finest. The sad thing is, this is a dub made in 2005 and it's just as hilariously bad as the Tekkaman dub which came out in the 70s. Seriously... Remember you can watch the full thing subbed over on Veoh. Just look up Time Bokan OVA.
