Here I go again - I don't normally post more than 1 version of a song, but a fan requested this so here we go. Here's a 2nd cover from the UNC Clef Hangers of Toto's "Africa" from their 2008 Spring Concert in Chapel Hill, with soloists David Mikush and David Hall with help from Cameron Rosenow. The sound system quit partway through (due to the fog, actually - hah!) but they kept on singing and even without amplifiers it sounds great! Let the video keep playing when they are done and you'll get to see some comments from Anoop. On Tuesday 2/17, VOTE VOTE VOTE!!!!!

Acoustic cover of my favorite Toto song. I prefer to play it on the keyboard, but it doesn't translate to video as well. Enjoy!

I had a go at this last night. Its a version of Africa by Toto. I worked it out in standard tuning to make it more accessible for us mortals. Ive put the melody on top for more clarity. The solos are some what improvised and are not exact to the record. Ive taken some licks from Andy Mckees version aswell and some of my own . I hope you like it.

Rain Choir - Perpetuum Jazzile is an a cappella jazz choir from Slovenia.
Follower SydesJokes/JokeHacker on Twitter: http://twitter.com/SydesJokes This fun YouTube video features a 1980s pop classic. The rock band Toto scored their biggest hit with Africa in 1982. The song is instantly recognizable. But it has been reinvented. Perpetuum Jazzile is an a cappella jazz choir from Slovenia. Its hard to think of something further from an 80s rock band. But their version of Africa may best the original. The group has amazing voices. But the beginning of this video is really striking. Group members simulate an African thunderstorm with their hands. Its really something to see and hear. http://videos.komando.com/2009/06/18/African-thunderstorm/ More Video Clips: http://www.sydesjokes.com/Category_-_Video_Clips.html
