Web Designer (mid-level)

Position Description:

Qualifications:

• Create original visual concepts for product and marketing (30%)
• Pre-production of web and product graphics and styles (30%)
• Maintenance and Upkeep of existing visuals and styles (20%)
• Conceptualize visually, product and product features (20%)

Requirements:

• 2-4+ years of web design experience
• BA/BFA degree in Web Design, Graphic Design or related field (preferred)
• Strong web based portfolio
• Solid understanding of web interface design and usability best practices
• Ability to accurately translate product requests into functional prototypes
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with a team or work autonomously
• Thoroughness and extremely detail minded
• Ability to work efficiently and with tight deadlines

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in HTML, XHMTL & CSS
• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator etc.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Flash
• Solid Understanding of web layout, color theory and typography

Bonus Skills:

• Working knowledge of JavaScript, AJAX, PHP, XML & C++
