[Part 2] To many, the A30 is just a road, but to retired civil servant Arthur Boyt it's more like a delicatessen. Arthur eats roadkill. He has sampled cat, barn owl, squirrel, hedgehog and badger. His wife, a vegetarian he met in Watford, is so afraid that she refuses to leave her bedroom. But Arthur refuses to change.

Jonathan Miller's 'Atheism: A Rough History of Disbelief' explores the development of atheism as a singular mode of being, clarifying quite spectacularly the emergence of secular thought over the past 500 years. Featuring interviews with Richard Dawkins, Daniel Dennet, Arthur Miller, Colin McGinn and other secular luminaries, it is a MUST see.

Thanks so much! We don't get BBC4 so this was my first chance to see it. Watched the first 3, and will return to see the next 3.
The 'Atheism Tapes? are fascinating and well worth watching, but I had a technical problem with a very jerky image in all three programmes. Is this a fault in the files or in my reader?
