  London: 12 January 2009 Bollywood came to the Square tonight to celebrate and publicise this new movie. I went to claim my space near the Empire around noon and found one other fan there and none of the usual suspects. Great news for me as I got a great spot and a companion to help retain the space during the afternoon wait. When the crowds did arrive it was very busy with lots of pushing and jostling. A good natured crowd too. They'd come to see their idols and the idols didn't disappoint. Akshay and Deepika spent loads of time at the fanline as the crowd went wild. I even got my picture taken next to Akshay when the paps asked him to pose among his fans. There was plenty of red carpet for the big turnout and plenty of lights so the footage looks great. Lots of other celebs turned out to support the cast and filmmakers. Pre-eminent among them was Amitabh Bachchan.
