no problem. a lot of people have trouble with mkv files. also, before i downloaded this, i downloaded the vlc media player which came with a bunch of codecs. if a file doesn't have audio or video try downloading it. one more thing:enable forced no skipping of frames

its alltoavi and can be found on sourceforge. if you decide to get it, READ THE ONLINE MANUAL-it actually helps. also-NEVER USE THE RESTRICTIVE MODE. trust me.
