Better than a magazin. More up to date than a newspaper, and just containing what you are interested in. The pretty much sums up the free Flipboard (http://www.flipboard.com) for the iPad.
iOS: Dont having to copy all of your movies to your iOS device can save you a lot of space. Why not stream it from your computer? Air Video (http://www.inmethod.com/air-video/) handles all the on-the-fly encoding and streaming for you.
Windows: You might only have one desktop/screen but with the help of Dexpot (http://www.dexpot.de/) you can create up to 20 virtual one for different tasks or contexts.
