Puni Puni Poemy is an off the wall comedy OVA from the makers of Excel Saga. It follows in the same comedic direction of Excel Saga and will have you laughing from start to finish! The basic story is Aliens Kill Poemi's (NOTE:Poemi calls herself by her Japanese voice actors name Kobayashi) Father (Nabeshin) and Mother (Kumi-kumi). Now Poemy with the help of the of The Earth Defense Force (The Aasu family) must stop the Aliens from taking over the earth!

The crew of the Lexx get a distress signal from a crashed ship. Stanley Tweedle refuses to go down to investigate, but Lyekka insists that she needs food, and if she doesn't get it she'll be forced to eat the crew. Lyekka wants to eat whatever survivors are down on the surface, but Xev understandably has some moral qualms about this. Once inside the crashed ship, they find jars containing still-beating hearts.
