Pole Position was a Saturday-morning animated action/mystery series loosely based on a popular 1980s racecar video game. It followed the adventures of three children, teenagers Dan and Tess Darrett and their younger sister Daisy, who worked for a secret crimefighting organization called Pole Position, run by their uncle, Dr. Zachary Darrett. With their computerized talking cars Roadie and Wheels, and their squeaky mascot Kuma, the children travelled around the country on missions, using a racing stunt show as their cover. Picture Speed Racer crossed with Inspector Gadget, with a few elements of Knight Rider and Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? thrown in for good measure.
"Showtime, Synergy.” Those famous words were spoken by Jem throughout her three year run from 1985-1988. Jem was a beloved 80's rock cartoon that capitalized on the popularity of MTV that perfectly captured the decade's music, fashion and lingo. To this day, Jem is still considered a "truly outrageous" animated series that celebrates the power of love, friendship, ambition and rock ‘n roll. Jem originally premiered in 1985 in short segment cartoon inserts between three boy-themed action cartoons called Super Saturday/Sunday. Jem proved to be the most popular of the four and ran for three seasons from fall 1985 to spring 1988 with 65 total episodes. The show was then re-aired on the USA Network into early 1990.
The Amazing Chan and the Chan Clan is an American Saturday morning animated cartoon series produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions in 1972, based upon the Charlie Chan movie series of the 1930s and '40s. It is noteworthy that the star, Keye Luke, is the only actor of Chinese descent to play the title character. In it, Mr. Chan (whose first name is never given, but is clearly Charlie) and his ten children as well as their family dog, Chu Chu, solve mysteries around the world,The older children also had their own music group, The Chan Clan; every episode featured a song, either being played over the action or with the characters playing instruments and performing. Vocals for the group were provided by former Archies lead singer Ron Dante, with music supervision by Don Kirshner (who had supervised the music for The Archie Show). The show lasted for two seasons in 1972 on CBS, and is today often rerun on Cartoon Network's sister network, Boomerang.

The Arabian Knights series was one of several animated mini-series, used as filler-segments for Hanna-Barberra's Bannana Split's Club show. Set among the fantasy-set lands that surround the high city of Baghdad, the show followed the adventures of a group of extraordinary people, who have banded together to fight against a corrupt ruler of Baghdad. Often, the general thrust of the Arabian Knights adventures deal with the Knights trying to effect some action against Bakaar’s soldiers, or finding a means to further complete their goal of turning the tables on the evil dictator, or dealing with another villian set within the AK's universe. For the most part, these adventures were done with a semi-serious slant, with a good part of action and comedy mixed in. Hardly anyone was injured or harmed -- save for Baakar's minions (in a usually comic effect), and the episodes usually ended in an up-beat 'happy' ending for the Knights.
Josie and the Pussycats followed the adventures of an all-girl rock and roll group as they travelled the world playing gigs and along the way thwarted the weird diabolical plots of several megalomaniacs looking to rule the world. Josie began her career as an Archie comics character in the late 1960's, starring in her own self-titled book. The stories followed the day-to-day adventures of Josie and her girlfriend Melody. Later, the title was expanded to Josie and the Pussycats, turning Josie and Melody into a rock band, along with new friend Valerie.

The main character, 'Bionic-1', was a machine-enhanced human being using bionic technology, much like The Six Million Dollar Man. There was an avalanche caused by a landing UFO and the Bennetts were all buried alive under radioactive ice. All, but Jack (whose bionics made him immune to the radioactivity), were thrown into paralytic comas. Unsure how to save them, Bionic-1 brings the family to Professor Sharp's lab. Sharp deduces that giving everyone the bionic treatment would cure them of the radioactivity too. Each family member was given a specific bionic power, and they formed a team named Bionic Six.
