IRS approves Haydenfilms Institute to support student filmmakers worldwide
Haydenfilms announced that the Internal Revenue Service(IRS) has approved its application for tax exempt status under Section 501 (c) (3), which will expand educational, new media, grants, production, distribution and other offerings and qualify the newly established and non-profit Haydenfilms Institute to receive tax deductible bequests, gifts and transfers.
The Olivet Boys & Girls Club (BGC), Reading, Pa., will hold a special viewing party to unveil its 30-second video PSAs filmed for the groundbreaking nationwide Speak Up! program offered through PAX, a national nonprofit dedicated to ending gun violence against children and families. The viewing party for the PSAs, produced with support from interns from Haydenfilms LLC, Kutztown, Pa., will be on Wed., June 4, 2008 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the PAL Center for the Arts, 328 Walnut St., Reading. The public is invited to attend the free viewing.
Hayden Craddolph presents the $10,000 Haydenfilms 3.0 Online Film Festival Grand Prize to Ismahane Lahmar, representing "The Boot of War." Michael Attardi CEO of Dream Balloon Productions and Multi-Award Winning Director is honored with the first Haydenfilms Innovator of the Year Award for independent filmmaking for his short, ''Once Upon A Christmas Village.'
