In response tyo your comment on Inukami ep 20, drawing and quartering was a particularly brutal-and agonizing-method of executing criminals where each of the convict's limbs would be tied to a different horse. The horses would then walk apart until the victim was literally torn apart. Not necessarily all at once, i might add.
