Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff was the special guest speaker at the Northwestern Ontario Associated Chambers of Commerce (NOACC) luncheon in Thunder Bay. The Liberal leader was speaking to a sold-out luncheon crowd of 125 people at the Di Vinci Centre.
A community where people not only care, but where people get involved and make a difference. That is Thunder Bay. The reach of our city extends well beyond our city limit signs, out to the wider world. That is evident in the efforts of groups like NuVision Ministries, Hope for Malawi, Kaitlyn's Crayons, and many other groups operating together under the umbrella of the Global Conscience Circle.
During the Christmas Season Operation Red Nose provides a free designated driving service to motorists who have had a drink or simply do not feel fit to drive their vehicles. This campaign will require the support of many businesses, organizations and volunteers. St. John Ambulance is excited to have been chosen to host Operation Red Nose 2009.
