Jack the Ripper is an alias given to an unidentified serial killer (or killers) active in the largely impoverished Whitechapel area and adjacent districts of London, England in the late 19th century. M, Fritz Lang, 1931 A captivating masterpiece by german film director Fritz Lang which fell recently into public domain. Tells the story of a serial youngsters-killer played by Peter Lorre. Nazi authorities weren't exactly thrilled by it. Amongst other things they took amiss Lang's use of Third Reich's iconography to boost the key character's twisted compulsion. by:jotalopo and there it is!
