The 80-Year-Old Children [Part 1]
[Part 1] In March 2003 doctors at Calcutta's Institute of Child Health made an astonishing and ground-breaking medical discovery. Quite by accident they had unearthed the only family in the world known to be struck by more than one case of progeria, a rare and incurable genetic disease. There are currently only 48 known cases worldwide, all of them isolated and seemingly random. But the doctors in Calcutta were faced with a mother who had given birth to five affected children.
A good scientific cultural and initiatic exploration.
A vampire tries to sleep on his lair, but a terrible predator approaches! German expressionism, terror films and brocolli pizza, on this award-winning 3d animation.
A mad scientist developes an invisibility formula which he plans to use to create an army
;-)))
Produced in 1953, this little Public Domain Gem follows the typical scientist hero as he and his OSI (Office of Scientific Investigation) partner try to track down a deadly new radioactive isotope which if left alone, would eventually destroy the earth. This is in my top ten favorite list for Tacky Drive in Horror and Scifi.
PUBLIC DOMAIN Fun Sci Fi movie from the 50's While boating (and possibly water-skiing), a quartet of teens, Reg (Don Sullivan), Skip (Paul Pepper), Julie (Mitzie Albertson), and Pam (Brianne Murphy), accidentally discover an island run by a mad scientist named Doctor Myra who intends to turn everyone in the United States into a zombie. The teenagers become trapped on the island, and are temporarily imprisoned in cages. They are freed when other teenagers arrive with the sheriff (who turns out to be in league with Doctor Myra). A complicated fight scene serves as the climax, in which a de-zombified gorilla arrives just in time to attack Dr. Myra's henchmen and allow the teens to escape. When they are safely back on the mainland, it is implied that the teens will receive a reward for discovering the island, and will have an audience with the President of the United States.
Bergmans only horror films. Quite a oddity and very creepy. Great effects too! Starring Liv Ullmann and Max Von Sydow.
Documentary on the super heroes we all love to read and watch, but every franchise or genre had trouble getting to the top and it was no different for comic books.
Aleister Crowley defies easy description. He has been called a genius by some, and a monster and pervert by others. BBC made this Video Documentary on him

The Testament of Dr. Mabuse (1933, Fritz Lang)
One of Langs most acclaimed German films.
for you =]
Otto Preminger's anti-classic bizarro star-studded pro-LSD comedy-musical, a disastrous flop in its day, but has aged rather well as a wonderfully warped, ironic campfest that includes Jackie Gleason tripping out on acid, and Groucho Marx as "God" (9 years before George Burns!) toking on a joint. The entire film has been uploaded to YouTube, but this version (from a New Zealand TV broadcast) is of higher resolution and quality. If anybody managed to record and upload the widescreen broadcast on TCM in January 2008, please let me know!
"The Legend of Marilyn Monroe" examines Marilyn through an investigation of her private live. From her turbulent childhood when her mother vanished beyond the dark wall of mental illness, through her short stays at various orphanages and foster homes to her marriage at sixteen to James Dougherty. Relive Marilyn's first exposure during World War II as a calendar girl for the war effort, one of her first performances in Ladies of the Chorus, and acting debut in "Asphalt Jungle", then into the limelight as a glamorous Hollywood superstar: "The Legend of Marilyn Monroe", lifts the veil of intrigue and depicts the essence of the legendary Norma Jean Baker we grew to love as Marilyn Monroe.
Sci Fi classic A Boy and His Dog is a 1975 post-apocalyptic science fiction film directed by L. Q. Jones and based on the Harlan Ellison short story of the same title, which originally appeared in 1969. A revised and expanded version was printed in Ellison's 1976 story collection The Beast that Shouted Love at the Heart of the World, and Ellison continued the story in the graphic novel Vic and Blood. The film version is often cited as an inspiration for George Miller's Mad Max though Miller has said he didn't view Jones' film until after he had completed his own[citation needed]. The movie was also distributed after the initial run under the name, "Psycho Boy and His Killer Dog" among other titles.
PUBLIC DOMAIN At a city zoo, Serbian-born fashion designer, Irena Dubrovna (Simone Simon), stands before the cage of the black panther, apparently trying to make a sketch of it. She catches the attention of an American naval construction designer, Oliver Reed (Kent Smith), when she balls up a draft of the sketch and tries to throw it in a trash bin, without success. The two then become engaged in a conversation, with Irena eventually agreeing to taking him to her apartment for lunch. As they walk away, once of Irena's botched drafts blows in the wind, and is revealed to show a panther impaled by a sword.
