I believe I suffer from Bipolar disorder, Histrionic disorder, a mild case of Social Anxiety disorder, and perhaps a bit afflicted by apathy as a result of social rejection. tv:
Stuff from the 1990s and farther back in time. That and good anime. Mythbusters and the like is fun to watch, too.
movies:
Anything that's compelling, a labor of love, actually has substance, and has a positive impact. I don't care about the genre. From V for Vendetta, to Princess Mononoke, to Toy Story, as long as it's good, then I'll like it.

Anything except heavy rock, heavy metal, death metal, and rap.
