"Life is not about how many times we fall, It's about whether we rise after every fall."
So when I'm at home esp when I'm in the relaxed mode, I tend to move away from the more serious stuff and gravitate towards less cerebral entertainment {blush}. This is because I get so involved with the characters I read or/and watch. I would yell at Othello, hated Iago to the core and gets so infuriated with King Lear. And though I enjoyed Yisan, I was on tenterhooks most of the time. And I was shellshocked for weeks after watching movies like 'Adaptations' and dramas like 'Sorry I Love You' and 'What Happened at Bali'. Shindon, who sounds like a Shakespearean Iago, would torture me for weeks. This serious sageuk is not for the fainthearted and I'm a total chicken. hehehe. But I would love for you to reconstruct it for me. I love to listen to stories, especially when they come with evaluations and insights.
Posted yesterdayThanks for sharing your views on Shindon. I'm always glad when one of the young teachers under my care gravitates towards literature and discussions that are more profound. My subject requires me to immerse my students in serious and controversial topics. I frequently have to play the devil's advocate to instigate intense discussions and to snap them out of complacency.
Posted yesterdayHi Sis! Thanks for stopping by my page although you couldn't post a comment. Don't know why thats the case. Anyway I did enjoy Iljimae immensely. Have you seen Daemang....you being the historical drama babe and all hehe. I stumbled onto it here on veoh and was going to start watching it cuz I still have your historical bug. ^_^
Posted 2 days agoHey Sis, so GLAD to hear from you. You have certainly been quiet. I suppose like sis Annika, you've been talking to the books. So how's your study coming along? Thank you for the push to watch Iljimae. I was procrastinating cos I didn't want to see duckee (that sis Annika and my nickname for Lee Joon Ki) in any sad ending. So what are you watching now?
