How do new technologies impact the arts? Artist Favianna Rodriguez and filmmaker Reed Rickert are known as early adopters and documenters of this very intersection between art and technology. The duo was commissioned by The San Francisco Foundation and Grants for the Arts/San Francisco Hotel Tax Fund through support from The Wallace Foundation to investigate the question. Riffing on footage taken from participant interviews at the 2008 convening, Rodriguez and Rickert developed CREATIVITY IN THE DIGITAL AGE, a short video that mimics the feel of online discourse.

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage month, artist and activist Favianna Rodriguez was profiled on a public announcement which aired on ABC's Channel 7. Another notable Latino who appeared in the series was Luis Valdez, founder of el Teatro Campesino.
In 2008, Favianna Rodriguez was profiled on ABC's Channel 7 Profiles of Excellence, a local program about individuals in the San Francisco Bay Area who do notable work in the community. This video also features TUMIS.com and the EastSide Arts Alliance.
