In the last 20 years a community of Bukharian Jews originally from Uzbekistan began to settle in Forest Hills, Queens, New York. They a tight knit group who through their use of media and their big homes, intend to make their presence known.
This fall República Eyewear partnered with designer Tony Peralta to create a limited edition eyewear collection. This collection marked the first collaboration between the two Washington Heights/Inwood residents.
