Like the young, hip cast of I'm Reed Fish starring Alexis Bledel (Gilmore Girls, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants), Jay Baruchel (Million Dollar Baby, Knocked Up) and DJ Qualls (Hustle 'n Flow), the I'm Reed Fish Original Motion Picture Soundtrack features fresh, critically acclaimed, up-and-coming artists such as singer-songwriter Rich Price, energetic pop band Miss TK & the Revenge, the British stylings of The Anderson Council, and a heartfelt country band out of New York City (New York City!?) Jack Grace Band. And Roddy Bottum, the legendary member of Faith No More and Imperial Teen who composed the I'm Reed Fish film score also contributes a track to the album. Sometimes fun and energetic, other times melancholy and pensive, this soundtrack matches the film's subject matter note for note: bumbling through life's transitions, making choices about love, finding out who you are. This diverse selection of moving songs reminds us that those frustrating parts of life are the ones we wouldn't want to do without.
