Sci Fi classic A Boy and His Dog is a 1975 post-apocalyptic science fiction film directed by L. Q. Jones and based on the Harlan Ellison short story of the same title, which originally appeared in 1969. A revised and expanded version was printed in Ellison's 1976 story collection The Beast that Shouted Love at the Heart of the World, and Ellison continued the story in the graphic novel Vic and Blood. The film version is often cited as an inspiration for George Miller's Mad Max though Miller has said he didn't view Jones' film until after he had completed his own[citation needed]. The movie was also distributed after the initial run under the name, "Psycho Boy and His Killer Dog" among other titles.

Otto Preminger's anti-classic bizarro star-studded pro-LSD comedy-musical, a disastrous flop in its day, but has aged rather well as a wonderfully warped, ironic campfest that includes Jackie Gleason tripping out on acid, and Groucho Marx as "God" (9 years before George Burns!) toking on a joint. The entire film has been uploaded to YouTube, but this version (from a New Zealand TV broadcast) is of higher resolution and quality. If anybody managed to record and upload the widescreen broadcast on TCM in January 2008, please let me know!

[Part 1] Originally broadcast in 1991 as part of the Arena series of programmes and reshown on BBC4 on 5 September 2007 as part of the Hidden Lives season. A profile of the legendary maverick producer and song writer Joe Meek, composer of the massive hit Telstar who recorded most of his hits in a home studio using innovative recording methods in Holloway Road. Meek was obsessed with the occult and suffered from depression and paranoia, and in 1963 had been charged with 'importuning for immoral purposes'. In 1967 after becoming paranoid he'd be framed for a murder of someone he knew, he killed himself and his landlady.
The fledgling hippie scene in London, featuring The Indica Art Gallery, The International Times (IT), The It Girl, UFO Club, Paul McCartney, Allen Ginsberg, Syd Barrett with Pink Floyd, and more.
A beautiful archival clip of Floyd rehearsing for a gig at the Queen Elizabeth Festival Hall in 1969. Comprises of material that would eventually surface on Ummagumma, the soundtrack album, More and the early Pink Floyd comp Relics from 1971, this is apparently the Floyd's first concept peice that was played around the latter part of 1969 and at the start of 1970. There are moments with no sound, and at just over two and half minutes before the end, an argument develops between the cameraman Anthony Stern and the Festival Hall management, the scene becoming just audio with no picture, a very interesting document. Black and White footage.
enjoy this spy movie, not the best editing but funny as hell!
