Meanwhile, Snow Princess Kaguya attacks the Earth with her snow dancers so she may rule it. Sailor Moon manages to stop her with the Silver Crystal, sending her far away. Luna, as part of the Silver Crystal's charm, temporarily becomes human for the astronomer.

Mamoru gave Fiore a Red Rose when he was young, and Fiore promised to return the favor with another beautiful flower. However, he brings back an evil flower who has corrupted his mind, and attempts to take over the world. The flower and the asteroid carrying them are destroyed by Sailor Moon, who dies in the process. Fiore gives his energy so Sailor Moon may live again.
