about me:

My name is Nellie Deutsch. I hold a BA in English literature and linguistics, a B.Ed in teaching ESL/EFL, an MA in education, curriculum and technology (MAEDCT) from the University of Phoenix. As a believer in life-long learning, I am currently studying for my doctorate in education, leadership, curriculum, and instruction at the University of Phoenix and taking courses in Kabbalah. I teach ESL and EFL, practice Reiki and Alexander technique, and conduct marriage and relationship workshops according to P.A.I.R.S (Practical Application of Intimate Relationship Skills). I am a veteran ESL (English as a second language) teacher. I have been teaching for over 30 years within the public school system, adults at university, in private ESP (English for special purposes) schools, and in technology oriented English courses for Cisco. I am passionate about teaching and learning.

My interests include updating Nellies English Projects website, writing lesson plans, creating WebQuests, conducting success and relationship workshops, and writing motivational and research papers. I run long distances and enjoy swimming.

I stopped watching TV about 3 years ago.

I enjoy watching a good movie at home.

music:

I love listening to unusual sounds that fit the state of mind I happen to be in. I enjoy quiet Reiki and relaxing music as well as fast and loud beat.
