A performance by Pete Simpson and Francis te Brake in the library in Deventer. Pretty weared, abstract, original. Reminds me of Triadische Ballet and square-dance. The selfmade costumes are made of plastic and paper, referring to the posters of the ART-exhibition 'een speciale aanbieding' = 'a special offer' Deventer, 1997
this is one of a serial of small films on 'bee-support(ed)'. The artist is very concerned about the collapse and catharsis going on in this world; the Colonial Collapse Disorder is just an example on a huge scale of destructive actions by human. It's not only the bees, that suffer, for we know that being destructive causes pain and suffering all over the world. As long as we abuse power and stay in a state of duality, we're not supporting at all. This video is critisising the system that is within and around us. Wake up and realise that YOU've got the power to change and love the life you're living.
voiceover and performance dedicated to female origin. Words are used with special archetypal meaning and depth
This voice-experiment is based on the word 'catharsis', the performer tries to express this word through voice, mimics and gestures.
