Here is over four minutes of Coney Island’s rides from the 1940’s in high quality b&w. Roller coasters, ferris wheels merry go rounds bumper cars and all kinds of whirling twisting moving machines. It ends with some very nice nightime shots of the lights. As with the other Coney Island videos I’ve posted they are from an excellent video called Coney Island that is available for free download at http://www.archive.org/index.php which is a goldmine of all kinds of media and information.
