In the future the entire Earth is at war, that is until a strange ship crashes on a island in the Pacific called Macross Island. There was a ceasefire and scientists from around the world came to study the immense ship from space and began to study its advanced technology. After discovering the alien ship to be military the nations of the world ban together at last for fearing a threat from space. Ten years later, there dreams are realized when a strange and powerful enemy from space come to Earth looking for the battle fortress.
Lost for countless eons are crystals that when put together forms a map of the entire universe! The key to finding the crystals to the ultimate star map would lead the search to a tiny seemingly insignificant planet called Earth. A young boy named Gen is the descendant of a group of space explorers. Made up of cute girls, buxom women, and bishōnen, the Sekirei fight in a dangerous and sometimes deadly competition known as "The Game" or the "Sekirei Plan" organized by Hiroto Minaka, the chairman and founder of the mysterious and powerful MBI Corporation. Minato soon learns that being the partner of a beautiful girl is not all fun and games, especially when he discovers that an Ashikabi can have more than one Sekirei partner—and that's where the real trouble starts for the Ashikabi.

I'm really just wondering if they changed the story for the actualyl show si'm pretty sure they kept atleast the first show the same but not sure if they changed the story of the last 2 tv shows that made it up since i do know the robotech series itself is made form 3 show shtat much i do know

Hey dude i know ur a fan of Macross and that so I just want your opinion i'm a little confused about the dub and the original show i heardit sa completely different show well script i was planning on watchign the dub then switching over to macross 7 and keep going to frontier or should i stick with the original japanse and subs for the whole series
