"A Bunch of Guys with a VCR"
Seishun Shitemasu Productions (the name means "living the springtime of our youth") was a group that made parody anime dubs, originally using standard VCRs (this was a device that used primitive recording devices known as video tapes) to record images. This was one of our favorite productions, a parody of Voltron with lots of Judas Priest music and Shakespere lines.
The Magnum Opus (?) of the Seishun Shitemasu anime dubbing group, this was their most popular production. A sequel to Robotech made using footage from Aim for the Top, it puts for many interesting ideas for hardcore animation fans who love parody.
