Real de Catorce is one of Mexico's magical villages, high in the mountains in the state of San Luis Potosi. Most of this video was shot from a balcony overlooking the tiny zocalo (village square) in the course of one day.

On Christmas Eve various barrios in Oaxaca participate in sending their village bands to accompany the villagers and kids on floats. When they all arrive in the "zocalo", the town square and circle it, there is a joyous cacophony...
