UFO Files - Alien Hunters

This little opus from 1964 is the rare TV syndication version of "Beach Girls and the Monster", featuring a different edit and music. This B/W film manages to feel more authentic and "of the era" than its' color cousins, being produced at AIP. It was directed by and stars ex-matinee idol Jon Hall. Cool music track ranges from pounding surf instrumentals to Brubeck-like jazz by ... Frank Sinatra, Jr. Really. Presented in proper aspect ratio. Cowabunga!
1965 Public service announcements by the U.S. Civil Defense office inform farmers what to do in case of nuclear attack using marionettes. Well, when these PSAs were designed, obviously the creepiness factor was considered to get people to pay attention.
Frightening civil defense procedure film aimed at Cold War-era elementary school students. Explains steps to take in case of an atomic bomb alert or a bombing without warning at school, in the open or at home. Gives simple explanation of nuclear fusion.

Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura - Manchurian Candidates
truTV's Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura -- episode six: "Manchurian Candidates" Original Air Date: 1/6/10
Most people think of a B movie as something concocted by the denizens of post WW II Hollywood, so I thought to include this little piece of cheese to prove that other nation's can also be known for the ripe smell of Lingerger (sp) emanating from their TV sets. This movie is a prime example of why it is important to not Film and Drink at the same time. It has some of the most unbelievably tacky scifi hardware ever put into a movie. The writing is funny and it sometimes seems that the writers had just returned from an all night wine tasting festival when they shlocked this one together. I hope you alien robots of undetermined origin with bad taste in sound effects, Zombified (Is that even a real word?) dead people with light bulbs for eyes, and some of the most fake screaming you ever heard. Enjoy the flick and try not to laugh too hard. :)
Swamp Women, produced in 1955, was the first film ever directed by Roger Corman. The film follows undercover police officer Lee Hampton after she infiltrates a prison, befriends three female convicts, and helps them all escape. In reality, this planned escape is part of a larger plot to find a diamond stash hidden deep within the swamps of Louisiana.

The programme was originally meant to be broadcast on April Fools Day, 1977. While its broadcast was delayed until June by industrial action, the credits explicitly date the film to April 1st. Alternative 3 ended with credits for the actors involved in the production and featured interviews with a fictitious American astronaut. However, some conspiracy theory supporters have argued Alternative 3 is at least partly true.
The Stones playing 'Brown Sugar' on the BBC's 'Top Of The Pops' programme in 1971. Preceded by a short interview with Mick Jagger.
